Why Location Based Advertising?

In this growing era of competition, one of the latest means of advertising is Location based advertising (LBA). It is an effective means of advertising which rounds up clients by sending location-based text ads to their cell phones using location tracking technology and mobile networks.

Consider an example of some tourists in New York looking for a good place to eat but they don't have much idea about the local restaurants there. Now a very simple solution for them is to contact dinning club's websites using mobile and they will provide them with a list of restaurants according to their location, time, culinary choice and a discount coupon sometimes also goes with the offer.

Two Approaches-

The simplest way to understand Location Based Advertising is to break it down into two types, i.e., push and pull approach.

THE PUSH APPROACH:

With the Push Approach, you initiate the marketing and ads are sent to mobiles phones based on their geographic location. This way you're targeting either the mobile phones of the general public or of specific people who opt-in or sign up to receive your ads.

THE PULL APPROACH:

With the Pull Approach, the users themselves are seeking information for some certain thing. In contrast to the push approach, here the ads are sent to them on their request. An example of this approach is someone in your town looking for a nearby Chinese restaurant or banquet hall. In this case he can use a mobile application that will provide him with the details of the place along with a map and a coupon as a bonus.

Overall, LBA has three distinctive advantages; these are increased reach, more relevance to your customers and better results.

Since nowadays mobile phones are about as common as house keys you've got a sure fire way to reach your customers you've got a way to give them the exact kind of information they are seeking, which makes you and your brand very relevant to them as well.

Digital Outdoor Signage - Understanding What Is Involved

Digital out-of-doors advertising is utilized to promote every thing from groceries, clothing to automobiles; due to the technology used this method of marketing is so flexible and can be tailored to advertisers needs.

No longer is the day of the printed marketing poster, now these are being changed by dynamic out-of-doors marketing, the incentive is owing to the move in equipment and the less technophobe users who are demanding data and if a retailer or manufacturer can not meet the command for the technology the consumers will move on to someone who uses and integrates their solution with a technology based solution.

This is why the movers and shakers such as Nike are using van mounted digital marketing to inform passengers in autos that a Nike outlet is at the next exit on the interstate, this will then split a journey up and provide some shopping treatment for the commuters.

Dynamic out-of-doors signage normally consists of a digital TV, a media player that stores the ads and power. These can be on trucks, at the side of the road, on gas pumps, on the roof of a taxicab.

The equipment can be supplied in the shape of a modular video wall, or a commercial screen and a digital sign enclosure, these give the protection needed for extreme weather. The solution will rely upon the place, the weather and most notably the finances to finish the project.

With the introduction and increase in digital posters and LCD advertising screens, inside digital marketing demand is growing fast, these are unquestionably not for out-of-doors use as they do not have any fortification for water or dust access and these will surely become broken if used outdoors without defense.

Digital advertising has been around for a while and now there is equipment for inside and out of home functions, depending on expenditure anything is possible, with the digital poster range in sizes from 17" to 80" and LCD displays on hand in general sizes from 15" to 80", but it is evident a dynamic sign cabinet is needed for outdoor use to protect commercial and domestic TV's.

The key section that links them all is the monitor and a storage device for the ads and the facility to run ads in a set rank, the similarities end when you start talking about scheduling updates so an entire electronic signage network synchronizes and refreshes the ads with new advertisement campaigns.

It then gets different when different kinds of media players are employed from 3G for mobile dynamic advertising, wireless for ease of deployment and networked media players that are used to offer a redundancy free solution.

When done perfectly they are all striking, however get it incorrect and the entire campaign can be beached before it takes off. When thinking about any dynamic advertising campaign, it must be planned down to the last aspect, from setting, to the availability of components to build the solution required. Trying to skip a solitary planning part will make problems later in the project, so the best is to plan the solution is to consider every part of it.

Achieving the Balance in Your Business Greeting Cards

Probably you know by now that business greeting cards are totally different from your usual print greeting cards for a holiday or a special occasion. First and foremost, the tone that business greeting cards project is somewhat formal and professional as compared to holiday greeting cards which have a lighter and more personal nature.

Hence, it is not proper to infuse a very personal tone to your business cards to the point of being perceived as odd by your recipient. You would not want to put in something very comfortable and casual as it may not have the effect you intend to achieve.

It is therefore crucial that you learn how to write for print greeting cards that are produced to make and maintain business.

You ought to know how to appropriately address your client through this medium. This article will thus help you write for business greeting cards. Read on and learn how to essentially be cordial but professional.

The first thing to remember when writing for these print cards is to be formal yet somehow informal. Now that balance may sound a little hard to achieve.

Apparently, print cards are more effective when they are made more personal, but with business cards, you cannot just address or treat your client on a very personal note. You run the risk of being misinterpreted.

Therefore, it is important that you master the balance between formality and personal touch. For instance, do not address your client by his/her first name; use titles instead such as Mr. or Miss or Atty. or Dr. And then add their last names. It is crucial as well to do research about your clients to know how they should be addressed.

By doing so, you do not appear too formal and personal at the same time. At least you did not use the usual and oh-too-generic "Dear Sir/Ma'am". This approach is worth mastering though, but with proper research, you will do just fine.

The second thing you need to remember in your business cards is to be polite and respectful. This is standard practice, as you may already know. Use a tone that makes your client feel they are above you and you are ever ready to serve them.

This is a good feeling that clients love experiencing because it makes them feel more special and in control. In so doing, you let people further respond affirmatively to your print cards.

Another thing you should keep in mind is to be always discreet or subtle with your advertisements in your business greeting cards. Do not make your clients feel that you sent them a card just to advertise or sell something. Once you do this, expect people to consider your cards as junk mail that should be instantly discarded.

So as much as possible, restrain your sales talk and just exert your efforts in establishing good rapport with your client. For instance, you can mention that you have just launched your newest product but do not go any further than that.

I hope all these simple tips will help you in writing your business greeting cards and properly addressing your clients and colleagues. Just make sure you learn to balance professionalism and personal treatment so your recipients will find you respectful at the same time warm.

Also, focus on reinforcing good relations with your clients rather than obviously shoving your product to them. That is how you make your print greeting cards more effective for business.

Temporary Tattoos - Use Them to Advertise Your Website

We all know that temporary tattoos are the perfect giveaways. A lot of organizers check out temporary tattoo manufacturers to have fake tattoos made. They check out manufacturers knowing what to expect.

They expect that as long as they deal with a reliable manufacturer, they'll have giveaways that can help them achieve success in the event that they're organizing. This success can usually be measured by the raised team spirit or funds depending on what the event is for.

But not a lot of people know that you can use temporary tattoos to advertise as well. It's a simple process really. All you need to do is contact temporary tattoo manufacturers and check out their designs.

You can then choose a design or customize your own. For the best effect, put some text on the fake tattoos. It could be the name of your company or a sales message. Best of all, you can put your website's address on it.

Putting your website's address is the most efficient way of advertising your company. Obviously, you're just trying to optimize the space. This is not reserved for impermanent tattoos. Even in billboards, you really can't put everything that there is to say about your company.

So this limitation is not for fake tattoos only. Sure, you can put in a sales message or your company. But then what? To maximize its effect, they should know where to go to avail themselves of your products or services.

Putting in your website's address will give them all the information there is to know about your product or service. Of course, they wouldn't see what you're offering upfront. But at least they know where they can check you out.

If they see 500 temporary tattoos with your site's address on it, they'll be sure to check it out and see all the information there is about your company. So when you check out temporary tattoo manufacturers, ask how much it is to customize the text.

Sure, there are a lot of ways aside from fake tattoos on how you can advertise your website. There are free and paid services that you can take advantage of to give your site more exposure. But where's the fun in that?

Also, you have to take care of offline advertising as well. If you contact temporary tattoo manufacturers, you'll see at once how fun it is to use temporary tattoos as an advertising strategy. You can then organize an event or at least sponsor an event to give your site exposure.

If you have the resources, you can organize an event on your own to launch your products or services. You can then use fake tattoos as giveaways and as an advertising tool as well. But if there's no reason for you to hold an event, you can contact event organizers to be a sponsor.

In return for the sponsorship, you can give out temporary tattoos with your website's address on it. If the event has 500 attendees, you'll have 500 people checking out your site after the event.

So go ahead and choose from the temporary tattoo manufacturers available online. Check out what they have to offer so you can have a better idea on how it can help you advertise your site. As far as exposure is concerned, more is always better. It's a bonus that fake tattoos provide quality exposure as well as spirit building fun.

Custom Plush Toys - Is Your Advertising Working?

It's a given that you have to advertise your custom plush toys. Sure, you can just watch the stuffed toys sell themselves. But in order to fully maximize your potentials as a plush toy manufacturer or inventor, you have to advertise in order to reach as many prospective customers as possible.

This is the reason why most inventors rely on advertising and marketing. It's not even reserved for the plush toys. As long as you have a product for sale, advertising and marketing is very important.

There are a lot of ways to advertise your custom plush toys. The strategies would depend on your budget. There are free and paid strategies and it's just a matter of choosing the ones that you think will work best on your plush stuffed toys.

But as a stuffed toy manufacturer, it's a good idea to at least start with email and catalog marketing. It will give you a chance to directly reach out to those on your prospective or current customer list.

It's very important that you take note of how many orders you're getting from your email and catalog marketing. If possible, take note of the orders that you're getting per email or catalog. This will give you a chance to see what works and what doesn't. Obviously, you should focus on the ones that work.

But it doesn't mean that you should totally disregard the strategies that don't work. You just have to ask yourself why it's not working and you're not getting any orders of custom plush toys. As a plush toy manufacturer, these are the three things that can go wrong:

1. Message

This is the most important aspect if you're using email marketing for your plush stuffed toys. Remember, it will take them just a second to delete your email. So check to see if you're sending an effective message.

For it to be effective, make sure that you're using the right words. Advertising and marketing over email is harder compared to face to face so you really have to choose your words when marketing your custom plush toys.

2. Market

This is especially true when you're using catalogs to market your plush stuffed toys. If your products are high-end, make sure you're sending your catalogs to areas that can afford them. As a plush toy manufacturer, you should also make sure that you're sending your message to the right demographic.

3. Media

This is the vessel of your message. Obviously, this is important so that your message will reach your market. Without it, no one's going to know about your custom stuffed toys. If you want to be a plush toy manufacturer, you should really choose your media. Some examples of media are blogs, emails, videos, audios and the likes.

If you're not getting any responses from your list, then it's time to do a little tweaking. Try to see which among the three needs tweaking and start from there. As you do that, watch how the responsiveness to your plush stuffed toys increase or decrease.

Just make sure that you do it systematically because those numbers can help you achieve success as a plush toy manufacturer. It can show you how to best advertise your custom plush toys.

How to Make a Good Brochure

For people in various fields of work, it is important to know how to create a good pamphlet, whether it is only for co-workers or whether it is for the general public. This article has tips for writing the perfect pamphlet and how the reader can be affected the words and the formatting used for the pamphlet.

When making a pamphlet, it is important to keep in mind what the brochure holders will look like and what the brochure displays should be. These are both also very important elements to think about when it comes to creating a pamphlet.

Below are some tips on how to make a good pamphlet for both in-house and out-of-house information along with a brief explanation as to why each tip will work:

1. Keep the wording simple and straightforward.

Most the time, the reader is just glancing at the information anyway so you want to keep it brief. Be sure to make any words or phrases that are important stand out by putting them in bold print, italics, or highlighted. If you have too many words on a page, people will not even want to look at the page because it just looks like there is way too much information on the page than what they are looking for.

2. It is extremely important to know who your audience is and which thing about which they would want to know.

For example, if you are writing a pamphlet about your company's new health care plan for employees you would want to inform them about information that is important to them, like price of the plan, and maybe how it is different from the old plan.

3. Try to incorporate some pictures to fill in empty space that will be there from the lack of words.

It is important to be careful because pictures can a little tricky. You want to have only a few pictures to cover a little bit of the white space, so you should not have many pictures all cluttered together. You also want to make sure the picture is appropriate for the message and that is actually looks good.

Many times people or companies just simply stick any picture on the pamphlet without really thinking about it. If it is a picture of a person you are putting on the pamphlet, make sure it is flattering of them and that they are either doing something that involves what you are discussing in the pamphlet or that they are at their desk without any clutter in the photo. This makes the material much more professional looking.

4. Make the pamphlet really stand out by using some color.

This is another tip that needs to be taken into some consideration. If you choose to use color on your pamphlet, make sure it is not too offensive to look at, like a bright, neon color that might make someone turn away. If you are using colored paper to make the pamphlet, you may want to use an off-white color that might grab someone's attention because it is different than just white or use color that is not neon or very bright.

If these tips are followed, then the pamphlet is sure to be very good for any type of audience.

Real Estate Advertising Choices

In the Real Estate Market, advertising and marketing is essential to success. Realtors and Reality businesses are always in the position to market themselves and those who utilize the proper tools reap the rewards. Below you will find a list of effective real estate advertising choices that can turn invisibility into highly visible almost immediately.

Business Cards

Business cards are always a staple for any business but especially important to a real estate agent. This is a direct line of communication for the client or potential client and the realtor. Every real estate agent or realtor should have a professionally design business card.

Magnetic Sign

Magnetic signs have become a popular choice for realtors throughout the states and beyond. This is because magnetic signs are versatile, readily seen and eye-catching. A realtor can place a magnetic sign anywhere it will stick. The most common places for a magnetic realtor sign is on the car, file cabinets and boats.

Anywhere they will be highly visible to a high traffic area is a good option. Cars are one of the best options because they reach many people in a short amount of time. They also never stop working for you while they are stuck to the side of the car. When you are at a stoplight, parked in a parking lot getting groceries or doing anything else "off the clock", your magnetic sign is still working!

Another benefit of the magnetic advertising sign is that it is removable. This is especially handy for times when you do not want to advertise, or, you live in a deed restricted community.

Sidewalk Signs

For realtors who have a business location, sidewalk signs are a great option. Having pertinent information about the real estate industry and why it is a good time to buy or sell is always a draw for someone that is on the fence about either.

Having a sidewalk sign make your name known, even if most of the people passing by have no interest in real estate at that point in time. One thing you can count on for sure, is that they will either need realtor services in the future or know someone who needs realtor services. When that time comes, your name could be one they remember from your advertising.

Vinyl Banners

Although this may seem a bit on the extreme side, vinyl banners can actually offer great exposure in the right places. Have you ever thought of attending an event where you could purchase a booth to set up there? A vinyl banner is a perfect option for this scenario. If you do not like the idea about a hanging vinyl banner, opt for using a banner stand instead.

There are a myriad of advertising options available to realtors. If used appropriately and in conjunction with one another, they could prove to up business significantly with little investment out of pocket. All of these options are affordable and offer the biggest return on investment which makes it the perfect fit.
